It is our mission to offer hope and freedom to those bound by addiction, provide them with a safe place to recover and equip them with the resources needed to transform their lives.

Why LIT?

The U.S. has one of the highest recidivism rates in the world: 76.6% of prisoners are rearrested within five years. Drug related convictions are skyrocketing: Methamphetamine increased 17.2%; • Fentanyl3 increased 897.6%. (Source: USSC.gov)

We've found that there is a much higher success rate in breaking the cycle of addiction when there are resources available right at the individual's moment of willingness. The resources just aren’t available in most communities. We had to do something.

What does the LIT Movement do?

We offer sober housing for recovering drug addicts & alcholics. We create a climate of faith and accountability by providing both the opportunity for growth and the availability of support for success. The LIT Movement offers support to both Men and Women battling the chains of addiction at all stages of recovery.

Long-Term SOBER Housing

We differ from other sober living homes in that we provide the physical needs, mental health and spiritual development of our residents.. Our peer recovery coaches create the Community and Accountability that promotes Growth for individuals in recovery.

Short term Refuge

The number one goal of STR is to get individuals immediately into treatment. We have established relationships with various treatment centers which allows us to streamline this often confusing process. We can coordinate transportation to inpatient treatment facilities in the Tri-State.

Peer Recovery Coaching
