Our goal is to assist individuals in acquiring safe recovery housing. We provide recovery coaching and spiritual training to those who seek freedom from                                                                                                   addiction. The LIT Movement's long term goal is to obtain a large facility to house all of our program needs.

Recovery Housing

Our original housing resource, called the Shiloh Sober Living Grant, helped men and women through financial assistance to acquire housing.  Now, we run our own housing program.  What started as one home has quickly grown to 3 homes. Our recovery houses provide men with a safe and supportive environment to grow and seek out healing.  We differ from other sober living homes in that we provide the physical, mental, and spiritual coaching and training necessary to cultivate full rehabilitation.

Recovery Coaching

To successfully achieve full sobriety and the hope of a purpose-filled future, an action-oriented program must be incorporated into the individual’s everyday life.  Our recovery coaching institutes a spirit-filled approach that transcends mainstream recovery.  We not only provide 12-step coaching, family support, recovery meetings, and mental health advocacy, but also spiritual training, life skills instruction, and assistance in setting and achieving personal goals.

Spiritual Training

In order to live abundant and hope-filled lives, we believe that all individuals – regardless of whether or not they struggle with addiction – must be willing to surrender their lives and will over to the care of God. We, the men of the LIT Movement, have done this, and do our best to model what it looks like to be in a relationship with God.  We walk alongside the men brought into the movement, encouraging, educating, and discipling them in their spiritual awakening.  We read the Bible, we pray, and we operationalize all the biblical teachings that the recovery world is founded upon.  Together, we embark on a lifelong journey of inner healing and wholeness.

Our Goal

To provide recovery housing, coaching, and spiritual training to those in need who show the willingness to receive this gift.

"If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure. Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth will free you."
